After 20 years of working as a physician in the field of geriatric medicine, Fred transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry where he served as a medical officer, director, and medical monitor for several contract research organizations. In those positions, Fred served as an advisor to many pharmaceutical companies and provided expertise in the areas of drug development, drug safety, clinical study monitoring, medical writing, regulatory submissions, and more. In January 2001, Fred joined forces with Chandra Louise, Ph.D. to provide consulting services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Fred is co-author of two books about clinical research, the Physician Investigator Handbook and the Clinical Research Monitor Handbook. As Vice President of PharmSupport and Peer Productions, Inc., Fred provides medical and regulatory consulting services and medical writing services to numerous pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
