 Chandra Louise, PhD is President of PharmSupport. A scientist by training, Chandra has occupied the roles of manager, consultant, and medical writer for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Prior to joining PharmSupport, Chandra was an employee of GlaxoSmithKline, where she served as a publication scientist, and Quintiles, where she served as a clinical project manager and medical writer. Chandra earned her BA in biology from Cornell University and her PhD in microbiology and immunology from the University of Rochester.
Chandra’s experience includes:
- 8 years of basic science research
- 14 years in pharmaceuticals/biotechnology
- Management of clinical studies
- Management of other projects including interdisciplinary teams and large medical writing project teams
- Writing of virtually all types of regulatory documents
- Supervision of project teams of >25 people
- Management of project budgets of millions of dollars
In January 2001, Chandra joined forces with Fred Smith, M.D. to create the company now known as PharmSupport.
Personally, Chandra is an avid exerciser, loves the space shuttle, and enjoys playing flute and oboe.
